Hope you all had an amazing 4th of July! Large Group is over for the remainder of summer, however girls' and guys' groups will still be taking place.

Large Group meets this Thursday from 6 to 7:30 in room 1225. Beforehand, members of IVCF will be meeting to pray for the students who plan on traveling to China this summer as part of an Intervarsity Global Project. Following the meeting, there will be a pizza hangout at Harsh's apartment. Contributions in support of the students who plan on traveling to China this summer will be accepted and appreciated.

Summer Meeting Times
This summer, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship will be meeting Thursdays at 6pm beginning May 21. Catch up with friends, make new ones, and spend some time reflecting on God's Word this summer! All are welcome. Bring your friends!

Small Groups
Ladies' small group will meet Tuesdays at 4pm beginning May 19.
Men's small group meets Thursdays at 4:30.

As the winter semester is wrapping up, this will be the last week that Small Groups, Daily Prayer Meetings, and Evangelism Team meetings will take place.

This Thursday will also be our last Large Group meeting of the semester. We will be meeting at 6:15 in room 1500 of the Social Sciences Building for a year-end celebration including testimonies, music and desserts. It's still not too late to bring your friends! Also, please don't forget to pass the word along to any alumni you may know. If you are interested in bringing beverages or NON-MESSY desserts, please email Sara (sarabrady.sb@gmail.com) ASAP. Additionally, if you have any photos or video that you would like included in a video presentation, please email them to Sara.

Thursday, April 23 will be our last Large Group meeting of the winter semester. Say goodbye to graduating seniors, share stories of favorite moments and memories from this past year, and celebrate everything God has done on our campus this past school year. Make sure to invite any alumni that you know, so that they can come and see all that God has done in our chapter since they've graduated! This week is also a great opportunity to bring friends who are new to IVCF so they can come and see what we are all about.

Frake Sale
InterVarsity will be having a fruit and bake sale to raise money for Chapter Focus Week.
On April 15 we will have a baking/preparation night at Harsh's apartment. Please bring something to bake, pre-made goodies, or fruit and of course games and movies. If you can't make it to Harsh's, make sure to give your contributions to Nino BEFORE Wednesday night.
The Frake Sale will take place April 16th. If you are interested in volunteering, please see Nino (nguillen09@gmail.com).

Chapter Focus Week

InterVarsity Summer Trips
If you like traveling and you're interested in serving Jesus in a foreign country, sign up for one of InterVarsity's summer trips. IV is leading mission trips in Cairo, Egypt and Xining, China. There are some pre-requisites involved, so if you're interested contact Dearborn's staff worker Christy Patterson (christen.patterson@gmail.com).

Small group Bible studies are a great way to connect with fellow students and explore the meaning of God's word. Find a time that works for you and come join us! Each group meets weekly on the couches upstairs in the UC.

Tickets: Upper Box section 326 (face value of $20 each)
I will be selling them to you, your friends, and/or family for $18 and IVCF will be making $3 profit for each ticket sold. Please let me know if you would like to go as soon as possible, definitely by june 13th. There is a limited supply of tickets. The quicker you let me know, the better chances of securing the tickets. Free Bus transportation will be available, leaving from the circle drive near the University Center. We could either do that or carpool.

Official IVCF bible studies will be starting june 7th through the end of july.
We'll be meeting on thursday nights starting at 5 pm in the University Center (UC)
(because the UC is closing at 7 pm over the summer)

All Large Groups, Small Groups, and Prayer Meetings are done for this semester. There will be Bible Studies and other events going on all summer. Pay attention to your emails to see whats going on.

We are going to have a fundraiser to help raise some extra money for Chapter Focus Week scholarships. From now until the last Large Group on April 19, we will be collecting refundable cans and bottles. This is not a fundraiser that requires a lot of effort on your part so please help out if you can, and talk to your relatives and friends as well. The people who will be receiving scholarships for Chapter Camp would greatly appreciate it. If you have any to donate then contact Jesse and we can work it out. You can bring them to Large Group, prayer meeting, the Monday night small group, or any other time you might see him. He can also pick some of them up if needed. (as long as they're not getting picked up in another state or something) Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

Chapter Focus Week is quickly approaching! It will take place from April 28 - May 5 at Cedar Campus in Cedarville MI. Chapter Camp is a great time to meet God and to spend time with our chapter. There is a lot of great training and teaching and plenty of time to spend enjoying the nature that God has created. The cost is $348, however, there are plenty of options to bring that cost down if needed. The deadline to sign up is April 13. Talk to Andrea, Jesse, or Priscila for any more information.
